Tae (Ted) H. Kwalk
Ted was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. During his elementary and middle school days, Ted was repeatedly told by his teachers that he had a natural talent for drawing and painting. However, he dropped his brushes after graduating high school. Ted came to the States for advanced studies and received a M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York (currently, Tandon School of Engineering, NYU).
Two and half years ago, upon retiring as a scientist from a leading Chemical Company, Ted decided to pick up the brushes again. Since then, Ted has been steadily producing his art works.
He is a member of the Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council’s Visual Arts Committee. Ted with his wife, Eunice, is a resident of “Renaissance Raritan Valley” community in Somerset County.
